Saturday
- May 8th
We started
10th and after the first few laps the Wall freight train got rolling
and we couldn't advance without risking getting hung out to dry.
So we hung in there until the first caution for a spinning Harry
Reed with some help. We looked the field over and hoped to get a
jump and pass some cars on the restart. As we came to the green
flag we were hit in the left rear and turned into the fence. Now
sitting sideways on the track, it was about to get real ugly. When
the smoke cleared Shanon Mongeau was resting on the hood of the
car and one car had gone over the car and left tire marks on the
windscreen and A pillar. Everyone was ok and the track hauler brought
the car back to the pits where we assessed the damage. All I can
say is I'm glad we have next week off. Click on an image below to

Saturday
- June 12th
We
started 12th for the feature and immediately began passing cars.
With only a few laps on the board we cut down a right rear threading
our way to the front. We came in and bolted on a new tire and
started around 21st. Again the car showed its muscle and we
were headed toward the front. We had recovered to about 8th
place when things got real bad. We were hit from behind exiting
turn 4 and spun into the infield. The car refired and we continued
the race, but we had crash damage that hindered the performance.
None the less we had some great racing with NEXTEL Cup star
Jimmy Spencer who race the John Blewett #66. Jimmy raced us
clean and it was a lot of fun dicing it up with him. We did
get past Jimmy and 2 other cars to finish 11th at the checkers.

Friday
- August 27th
Frank
ran the Zirinski Racing #25 ARDC Midget at Linda's Speedway. Frank
started up front but was involved in a Lap 2 spin and had to restart
at the rear after the car stalled. After working his way up through
the field another spinning car crossed his path and he was forced
to stop on the track. Again Frank picked his way through traffic
and was runnung in the 6th position at the checkers. Frank also
ran a 270cc Micro Sprint in the evenings events.Click on an image

Saturday
- August 28th
We
escaped the early spins that slowed the pace of the race. Then
around lap 25 contact up front sent a spinning car into the
path of the entire field. We got on the binders and good work
on the radio helped us avoid serious damage. But, contact had
damaged the spindle mounts and bent them. This damage along
with some corrosion inside the mounts bound up the sway bar
and limited its ability to work. At that point we had worked
our way up to 5th from 18th. From that point on we were just
hanging on to our position. Good spotting work and great driving
helped us keep position from slipping away. We crossed the checkers
only losing one spot and finished 6th. We only lost a few points
to the leader. A little bad luck was almost inevitable since
we had been running so well. But the team has done an excellent
job at repairing the car every week and improving the performance.
