November 29-30, 2002 - The Turkey Derby

Mother nature is again in control at the Speedway. If the folks in these pictures look cold - they ARE! Falling temps into the mid-30's didn't deter Frank from a 7th place finish. Unfortunately because of rain only 30 laps out of 150 were run under the green flag. The race was halted at half way because the crews were unable to dry the track. Maybe next year it will be drier and warmer! (Photos: Dave Nale)

Frank shows he can drive anything with wheels. Here he climbs behind the wheel of a Legend car. Unfortunately Frank crashed in the feature race. He was racing out of turn four when the track became blocked by 3 spinning cars. With nowhere to go, Frank stood on the brakes only to get slammed into by other cars. Frank exited the car unhurt, with the Legend taking the brunt of the force. (Photos: Dave Nale)

September 21 , 2002

Dave Nale, site webmaster, visits Frank and the team and snapped some great shots of the #40 team in action. Frank crosses the checkers in 8th place.

August 17, 2002

Frank scores win number 23 in his career and 1st win in a Modified.
